Nestle Nido Milk Powder is a manufactured dairy product made by evaporating milk to dryness. One purpose of drying milk is to preserve it; milk powder has a far longer shelf life than liquid milk and does not need to be refrigerated. Nido is ideal wherever fresh milk is not a viable option, including boarding schools so many Africans who went to boarding school have fond memories of the many gari soakings and other awesome uses this milk was used for.
Preparation and use
Nido can be used the same way evaporated milk and regular milk are used. It can be used with meals like cereal, tea, coffee and porridge. Other things you can make with it are condensed milk, whipping cream, ice cream, Yogurt and whatever regular milk can do.
