There are so many way to make sweet potatoes – you can boil them, bake them, mash them and even cook sweet potatoes in a microwave. However, for some reason, when thinking of ways to make sweet potatoes, simple pan-frying method often gets overlooked. If you haven’t tried cooking sweet potato slices on a frying pan, you are in for a treat!
6 Sweet potatoes
Salt to taste
Peel the sweet potato and cut into thin slices.
Heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat.
Add the sweet potato slices to the frying pan. Let it fry whilst stirring every 2 minutes, for 10 minutes, or until sweet potatoes are browned and cooked through.
Peel and wash onions, cut onions add to the kpakpo shito and blend with little water.
Put sauce pan with oil on fire and add the onion mixture to cook.
Leave to cook for about 45 minutes.
Add seasoning, salt and leave to cook.whiles cooking cut your vegetables ;red pepper ,tomato ,green pepper and carrot into small dice.
Serve with your fried fish or other type of protein and add other vegetables.
