There are so many times when you visit a kitchen only to see yam, rice or plantain without anything to go with it. That's why there is a need to know how to make a quick gravy so you can have that complete meal.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

1 medium sized onion

A pinch of chilli powder

3-4 tomatoes

Salt to taste
Directions
Now you start by warming things up a bit by heating the oil in a pan
Time to get chopping as you slice the onions into bits and add when the oil is hot.
Leave to fry on medium heat for five minutes or until the onion is tender.
Blend the tomatoes, add the chilli powder and add to the tender chopped onion to cook for 15-20 minutes.
Stir regularly and add salt to taste.
Remove from heat to serve.
