Wheat meal falls under the category of swallows in Nigeria and can be eaten with various Nigerian soups like egusi, okro and the like.
The meal is very rich in fibre and helps in weight loss as well.
How to make Nigeria wheat meal fufu
2 cups of wheat meal
Boil 500ml of water in a pan.
Once the water boils, pour in the wheat meal and start stirring with your spatula. Continue stirring until mixture starts to become solid.
You then add the rest of the 500ml of water and the cover the pan for it to boil for 15 minutes.
Make sure to turn the mixture once more and then mould into any shape.
Serve hot with any Nigerian soup as mentioned earlier.
